CONVOCATION I: March 31,1984 – First Parish in Weston

Present: 55 delegates from 24 churches, 73 observers representing 37 churches (incl. above 24 churches). Voted “Whereas, as churches within the UUA which stand in the liberal Christian faith and tradition, we feel the need to serve each other in our Unitarian Universalist Christian faith, to assist the UUA to serve the cause of liberal Christianity within UU churches and society, and to help serve the cause of the larger ecumenical movement be it so moved that we form a Council of Unitarian Universalist Liberal Christian Churches to foster these ends.”

CONVOCATION II: November 4, 1984 – First Universalist Society in Salem

CONVOCATION III: May 11, 1985 – First Congregational Society Unitarian of Leominster.

Present: 31 delegates; 12 observers.

CONVOCATION IV November 2, 1985 – First Parish in Malden.

Present: 25 delegates; 29 observers.

CONVOCATION V: April 12,1986 – First Unitarian Church of Worcester

Present: 22 delegates; 36 observers, 36 churches represented.

WORKSHOP ON CHRISTIAN RELIGIOUS EDUCATION IN THE UU CHURCH September 13,1986 – First Parish Church in Taunton.

Participants: 75

CONVOCATION VI: April 25,1987 – First Parish in Lincoln

Present: 47 delegates, from 25 societies

WORKSHOP I: ON CHRISTIAN RELIGIOUS EDUCATION IN THE UU CHURCH October 3, 1987 – First Parish in Weston.

Participants: 58, representing 34 societies
