The Council of Christian Churches within the Unitarian Universalist Association was established in 1984 by Unitarian Universalist congregations committed to Christian worship. It is an unincorporated association of churches and fellowships within the Unitarian Universalist Association cooperating to promote, safeguard and deepen the Christian witness as it is found among churches affiliated with the Unitarian Universalist Association. One of its key missions is the support of Unitarian Universalist intellectual debate and historical scholarship.
